Clemens Behr, a german artist, mainly works with cardboard, tape and found objects like wood. His recent work focuses on the transformation of a given space by building paper installations, which seem to take over the place they have been built in. Through simple geometric shapes, the observer experiences a casual confusion of 2D painted and 3D existing objects. With an easy folding technique, Behr quickly shapes papers and fills the space with origami-like sculptures, all made out of omnipresent materials which originally were made for everyday commodities...

It was late 2009 when we worked out a plot for Hypebeast to come shoot at my exhibition last season in NYC, and as the opening event was just a little too hectic to really do much there in front of the camera, I followed up afterwards with their east coast producer Kellen Dengler, and we made some quality time to spend vibing for an afternoon together back in BK, talking and shooting more footage and imagery to round the piece out a little more…
In a situation like this where it’s not so slanted towards any specific product or sponsor being pushed or promoted, it was also a nice opportunity to just kick back and try and put some things in perspective now, personally, professionally and visually…
