10 DAYS is first and foremost a painting study of news headlines taken from the BBC News online between May 6-15th, 2009. The painting involves a few different ideas: a study of hand painted lettering, the idea of taking digital information and turning it into something handmade, memory, and of course the news we're fed and how it's fed to us. The process is really what this painting is about though so the best thing to do is just check out the video for yourself:
