Montana PRIMER Sprays

Not every surface or substrate can withstand the ever changing conditions that nature challenges them with. The sun, the wind, moisture or temperature changes are just some of the things that can make painting surfaces difficult and challenging. Good preparation can be the key to ensuring that your artwork or project has the longest possible lifespan with the best possible results. The Montana CANS PRIMER range offers you every solution you need. All the Montana Cans PRIMER ranges are specifically developed to increase adhesion, seal porous surfaces, optimize the ease and coverage efficiency of further coatings, protection of your substrate and above all, longevity of your end project. The PRIMER range consists of 4 high quality priming coatings. The T2000 Plastic PRIMER, T2200 Polystyrene PRIMER, T2300 Universal PRIMER and the T2400 Metal PRIMER. Application is easy and efficient, just like using any other Montana GOLD, BLACK or WHITE can. Once dry and cured, each PRIMER offers a compatible surface for further coating with Synthetic, Nitro-Combi or Acrylic spray paints, such as the Montana GOLD, Montana BLACK and Montana WHITE can ranges. Everything from plastic, metal, polystyrene, leather, cardboard, wood and many other materials can be primed for stunning results. Where applicable, sanding and further manipulation of your surface can be achieved to assist you in reaching your creative and practical goals both indoors and out. Application is recommended in thin, even coats, ensuring that the substrate is clean, dry, dust and oil free prior to beginning. With a drying time of 24-48 hours (depending on substrate), further coatings can be applied to reach all your practical, functional or aesthetic needs. Always test on a non-visible area of your work to check the compatibility of further coating with lacquer or paint. We recommend that you always store your cans always with the nozzle on. Cans which are not completely emptied may need to be disposed of as “special refuse”.
