Montana MARBLE 400ml

MARBLE Effect is high-covering spray paint for a deceivingly realistic marble effect. It can be used on many different surfaces such as paper, cardboard, primed canvas, wood, glass, metal, ceramics, porcelain, stone, acrylic, and other paintable materials. The marble effect is formed by very fine colored paint strands on the surface area of the object in question. The area which is to be sprayed is not entirely covered and will stay partially visible. The MARBLE Effect range consists of 10 inspiring colors including the new Marble Copper, Marble Yellow, and Marble Grey. MARBLE Effect can be top-coated with many common lacquer types once thoroughly dry. MARBLE Effect can be combined with Montana GOLD, Montana ACRYLIC markers, and customary acrylic paints. The MARBLE Effect can is fitted standard with the FLAT JET WIDE calligraphy cap that can be adjusted to create spray output lines in vertical, horizontal, or variations thereof.

What is Montana MARBLE 400ml spray and how does it work?

Montana MARBLE 400ml spray is a medium pressure, high-grade and high covering effect spray that emits paint in the form of fibres or fillaments that don't completely cover the substrates surface. The further away you apply it the more it looks like marble texture. The closer you apply it the more it looks like spider web.

How do I get the best effect with my Montana MARBLE 400ml spray?

For a marble look, the Montana MARBLE 400ml spray works best if applied at a further distance from the substrate. This allows the paint fillaments to seperate further during projection and land with a more natural look on the substrate. We recommend first experimenting on a scrap piece of material so you can gauge how far from the substrate you should spray (and at which angle), to achieve the effect you are after. If you spray closer the fillaments have less time to seperate and thus land on the substrate in the appearance of webbing.

What is the best colored surface to apply Montana MARBLE 400ml to?

There is no best colored surface depending on what appearance you are trying to achieve. However always keep in mind the effect of contrast. Spraying on contrasting colors like white MARBLE 400ml spray on a black substrate, will offer the greatest contrast.

How do I start using my Montana MARBLE 400ml spray can?

Remove the spray nozzle and turn the can upside down. Strike with your palm allowing safety ring to fall out. Shake vigerously for 2-3 minutes ensuring you can hear the mixing balls moving freely. Replace the cap back onto the top of the can valve and trigger away from substrate to test. If flowing freely you can start painting.

How long does Montana MARBLE 400ml spray take to dry?

The drying time for Montana GLITTER 400ml spray varies depending on substrate, ambient temperature and levels of humidity. The Montana MARBLE 400ml spray can be dust dry in 10 minutes, touch dry in 60 minutes but needs 24 hours minimum curing time.

Can I use other nozzles on my Montana MARBLE 400ml?

Being a femal valve can means it is possible to use different Montana caps on the Montana MARBLE 400ml spray. However the standard FLAT JET WIDE nozzles that come standard on the Montana MARBLE 400ml are optimal for achieving marble or web-like effects. Alternatively FLAT JET MEDIUM and CALLIGRAPHY caps will achieve this also and can be adjusted to create spray output lines in vertical, horizontal or variations there of. Other caps may clog, spit or not create the desired effect.
